Abstract plant Sculptures, 5th grade Art Enrichment

Here is a sneak peak at the whimsical creations of our 5th grade, Art Enrichment students. We’re currently creating sculptures inspired by contemporary artist’s Adam Frezza & Terri Chiao. I’ve been obsessed with these colorful, playful, Dr. Seuss like creations ever since I saw them on The Jealous Curator. We used Art Criticism to describe, analysis, interpret, and make a judgement on these creations. Our sculptures were created using paper-maché.  We are in the final phase of this project, mixing colors and creating a pattern and texture for our design. Stay tuned…
